The Slavic Group is actually three firms that form a seamless entity, bringing a combination of strengths together in a service platform that is without peer.

Slavic Investment Corporation (SIC)

SIC was founded in 1988 with a particular focus on mutual funds as the investment choice for most investors. As an independent entity, SIC looks for the best funds across nearly all funds available. This access allows us to construct and maintain a platform of mutual funds that are among the best performing in the investment industry. Unlike other providers, we are not captive to a single fund company or insurance product. SIC also has access to group annuity products such as Manulife Financial’s Venture platform. Manulife, like SIC’s mutual fund platform, assembles an impressive lineup of investment funds.

SMF was founded in 1987. Its focus has been, and remains today, technical and product approach to money management through mutual funds. SMF is a registered investment advisor (RIA) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). As a RIA we have streamlined the investment platform to provide a broad spectrum of funds from the best known families with the highest possible ratings. SMF has also created “asset-allocation” portfolios that are a very popular choice among participants.

Slavic Integrated Administration (SIA)

SIA is a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) to Defined Contribution Retirement Plans. Founded in 1995 to combine the functions of the investment platform as developed by SMF and SIC into a state-of-the-art 401(k) platform, SIA provides the “glue” for the 401(k) platform and is designed for the “work site-tested” 401(k) plan. SIA uses Relius, the premier administration program for 401(k) plans of all sizes. Our administrative portal is internet-enabled, as well as staffed by our Customer Service Department, to meet the needs of the modern 401(k).
